Save the date on 6 October because the full conference schedule for The Linux Foundation Member European Forum is now live, and it's shaping up to be one of the year's most important gatherings for open source leaders in Europe.
Taking place in Prague, Czechia, the Forum brings together business and technical leaders from across the Linux Foundation's member community for a single, focused day of conversation on the issues shaping Europe's open source future, chief among them, digital sovereignty.
As European organizations navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape, from the Cyber Resilience Act to the rapid rise of AI, the question of who controls critical technology infrastructure, and how open source fits into that picture, has never been more pressing. This year's Forum is built around that tension: how European enterprises, governments, and open source communities can work together to build technology strategies that are resilient, compliant, and genuinely sovereign, while not falling into isolationism or tech decoupling.
Alongside digital sovereignty, the program tackles the impact of AI on open source communities and the practical realities of operating under new regulation, giving attendees a working agenda for the challenges already on their desks, not just the ones on the horizon.
A few sessions worth planning your day around:
And when the sessions wrap for the day, stick around: an Attendee Reception runs from 6:00–8:00pm at Bricks Restaurant & Bar with an unbeatable view of the historic Charles Bridge, a relaxed close to the day and a chance to keep the conversations from the agenda going in person.
The Forum is an invitation-only gathering for Linux Foundation member organizations, designed to be small and focused enough for the kind of candid, high-level conversation that a larger conference can't always deliver. That said, invitations are open to request: if your organization is a Linux Foundation member and you'd like to be part of the conversation in Prague, you can request an invitation directly.
We hope to see you in Prague on 6 October.
