PowSyBl: Open Source Powering Europe’s Digital Grid Sovereignty
By joining Linux Foundation Europe, PowSyBl - an open source library for power system modeling and simulation - has gained a neutral, trusted home that reinforces Europe’s goals for digital sovereignty and collaboration. LF Europe provides the project with stronger visibility in EU policy and research frameworks, shared governance across stakeholders, and support for regulatory compliance. This foundation-backed model enables PowSyBl’s growing community of TSOs, RCCs, and vendors to co-develop critical grid software that is open, secure, and truly European.
